Just replaced my leaking steering input shaft seal since everything else was good and just had an alignment (so didn't want to ruin that).
Here are the steps:
1-Straighten wheel just for orderliness.
2-Mark both ends of the universal joint shaft connecting the steering wheel and the gear box.
3-Remove the above by the two bolts, the upper is a one position fit, while the bottom (gear box) is geared.
4-Remove internal circlip.
Remove seal by prying or drill hole and use slap hammer.
5-Install new seal and press with suitable PVC or metal pipe with an 6-8" length. This was the trickiest since it is hard to get a perfectly straight shot, so the length is for enough pushing power, but not too long to hit steering pump housing.
6-Install circlip, fill with oil and bleed system.
