Any good stops?
(Hope I posted in the right section of north/south Cali) All the way from alberta here. Wife's on a business trip in Newport Beach and we spent a few days at Disney and universals first. I have 2-3 days to kill now that her course will start Monday and I googled shops such as rbp and what not for neat places to visit. I'm into diesels, off-roading, hot rods, drags, and of course fords. Any noteworthy stops to see that's not too far from Newport??

I'd recommend the Peterson automotive museum, but they're closed for renovation. Nethercutt is a bit further if you have time,

Not far from your hotel are the Tar Pits and LACMA museum. Not auto related, but interesting.
