GT40Man.....

I know I’ve bothered you enough with the dyno thing already (351C), but I wanted to see if I could get comparable data on a 400 with similar equipment. It would be:

400 .020 over, 9.0:1 pistons
2V heads with just mild exhaust port clean-up
Crane cam 260°/276° duration, .493/.502 lift
Dual plane intake
600 Edelbrock carb
Sanderson 17/8 tube block hugger headers
Duraspark ignition

A while back you told me a .030 over Cleveland with somewhat similar specs would be about 338hp @ 5500, 380tq @ 4000. Wanted to see if building the 400 as an alternative would be worth the extra expense (bushed rods, etc.) Would a 400 benefit froma bigger cam, or would it perform about the same as it would in a Cleveland? Thanks.
