There is a fusible link near the fender mounted relay, on passenger side. That is where the charge wire for the alternator feeds too. It was Fords 2G design. I don't have a picture, but they are there.

It is the flimsy green(i think its green) wire bolted on the battery side of the starter relay. Feeds to a black wire with an orange stripe. Cant miss it. Cut it off and solder on a new one or install a 100a fuse in its place. (Think car audio fuses)
I just ran a new wire directly from the alternator. (ill advised but it works)
