Guys, I'm at work... you can't be making me LOL like that!
Yay! Another build thread to follow.
I'm planning on using that some hose from Parker. Where the Push-Lok fittings as easy to use as advertised?
Parker Push-Loks work great, but holy hell are they a PITA to get the hose slid onto the fittings. I have tried a lot of stuff from heating up the hose, freezing the fittings, and soaking the ends of the hoses in diesel. If its not too much trouble, freeze the fittings, leave the hose sitting out in the hot sun, and soak the end in diesel before you push it on the fitting. That's about the easiest way to get everything to slide together right. Lol.
For the record, AN fittings can be a PITA too if you've never worked with them and the stainless braid likes to poke you after you cut it.
My truck is the darker red color, can't remember exactly what its called. Not sure what color would go with that. Would it be weird to pop the hood on a red truck and find a bunch of blue stuff?

Nope. Mine's the same darker red, with lots of blue under the hood. You can make blue work with any ford, any color. It's ford blue!

I just use a dab of whatever oil I have in my little pump can. Some in hose and some on fitting and push!!
It seems like a good product. And easy enough if you need a different length.
The price is about all that was in my price range.
