Chilton or haynes?
I have an Haynes and the only thing that is not shown is the vaccum diagram. Haynes does show almost every thing. These books can be hard to find at times.
I have both Haynes and Chiltons for several different vehicles. Except my truck, which I only have a Chiltons for. Generally, I've found that the Haynes have more accurate wiring diagrams of the two. The Chiltons I have for my truck actually has the most accurate wiring diagram I've found in a Chiltons. It's not 100% correct on color coding but there are only 2 descrepancies I've found so far. That probably has something to do with the simplicity of the wiring in these trucks.
The factory manuals offerd here at Motorhaven would be my first choice. One of these days........
Personal advice: get both (previous mentioned), as well as any other printed resource you can find. I have both Haynes and Chilton, and between the two, I have a lot of information. If one doesn't have it, the other likely will.
