Howdy everyone, 4point here from Oregon. Thanks for the invite!
Just bought myself a 1974 f600. An old U-Haul. 24' box. Bought it for the box and the truck came with it. Runs, drives, and, it takes a while, stops. But for 1300, couldn't go wrong! Well, when i got under the beast with my 11/16 wrench to pull the drive line for the tow, well, I decided to see if i could put it back on the road! Nothing like a truck that you can work on with a set of wrench's, screw driver's, and a pair of pliers, ha ha, I was 20, when it came of the production line, so there is some i already know , BUT, not on a truck this big (had a 66 ford 3/4 ton custom cab, 292, manual, back in the day)! Still looking for another one today! And being a U-Haul, I'm finding it a little harder to find engine info, for a tune up and such!!!! So looks like i will have to get some help with the Vin to start.
See you on the threads.
Thanks again for your offer to help,
4point
