I would read it that the truck has the capacities as manufactured.
However, it does show you that with different and optional axles, springs, tires, etc the basic truck frame could have a rating up to the maximum.
But not this particular truck, it is rated as manufactured.
Guess it is just a way of saying, look cheapskate, you could have had a truck with some options that was way more capable, that is if you needed the weight capacity.... I guess if one was always hauling light stuff, this would be all that was required.
I've seen some old pete's with stuff like that before, if I remember my stuff right it's like 32,000 max but not below 19,000. So this would be like a 32,000 lbs truck. GVW.
That's 32,000 with a load on it. The 19,000 could be empty weight...maybe?
Could be the plate is for an incomplete vehicle. Also, could be as simple as putting the proper tires and wheels on it to get max rating. There should be another tag or sticker somewhere else on the vehicle.
