I got this 09 f350 from Atlanta in January. Didn't notice that it vibrated when I drove it all the way home. but since I brought it home, I swapped front bumpers, rims and tires, added a tonneau cover. vibrates from 50mph and up.
I have had the tires rotated and balanced 3 times. each guy said the last guy was off. replaced front u joints, sway bar bushings, one tie rod.
still vibrates, sometimes doesn't seem to be too bad, sometimes terrible. I think its partially the roads.
But I was wondering if anyone was somewhat close to allen park, and had a similar truck that could ride in it and see what they think. maybe even if they had another set of rims that I could swap out to see if mine are the culprit.
any ideas would be great. I love this truck, but hate driving on the highway
had a tire once that we had balanced a few times, but would still follow one tire after a rotation above 65mph.. new tires fixed it, so i assume it had a belt bad in it, could be your case too.
How are they balancing them, static or dynamic? Did you go somewhere that has a roadforce balencer, that would identify a bad/defective tire. If you can get up to Novi we can wheel swap and play on our road force balancer here.
No idea how they balanced them. One was belle tire. Other was harolds frame shop. No idea how they rotated them. It is a crew cab long bed. When i bought it they had just replaced the midshaft bearing?
Where in novi? I could come out after im outta work 330ish. Or on a saturday. 313 999 5124. Dan

I work at the Benz dealer, grand river and haggerty. Would have to do it on a dealer late night, Monday or Thursday after six. You work up this way? Only Harolds frame shop I know of is just down the road, the Redford location was closed to my knowledge.....
Beads are an option. What size tires do you have on it? I'm assuming aftermarket wheels.
Monday is still open at this point, but that could change, we'll have to touch base before you head my way, and I also need to make sure one of the sprinter bay's are open, car hoists are not amused with trucks our size, I've tried......
