header bolts

header bolts

I was talking to a friend and he said that it is impossible to ger a wrench or socket on some of the header bolts. he suggested allan key style bolts. anyone else run into this problem or is he full of it?

it is tight in there to get those on but can be done. some i was able to use a socket others i needed to use a open end wrench. when i take my headers off to replace the gaskets im gonna use my grinder to take a little off the tube where the bolt goes so i can get a better hold on them. talk to some muffler shops, they can help you with this as well
