That's why I'm looking at the swap, I have most of the parts needed to do it, so may as well run easy on the HO and when I get back from deployment have the 300 rebuilt and do some upgrades in the process.
I understand that. My 302 runs fine, burns a little oil due to valve guides, could just swap heads but I am seriously leaning towards getting a rebuilt 86-95 302 HO that's been taken 0.030 over and just use that as a basis of a street built for torque. Better then trying to get more torque out of my 302 by doing head swap and intake alone.
