Hello everyone, new to the forum but not new to fords. Just wanted to introduce myself and my new lady Ethel.
She's a 1983 F-150, 302 carb, under 150,000 on her. Plan on putting in some work on her suspension, steering, and drivetrain but want to keep her looking close to what she does now.
Just removed the smog pump (luckily had its own belt running to the alternator) and headliner. Lot of plans with little time and money but I plan on doing what I can with what I have.
Hope to contribute what I know with you all on the forums, I myself worked in bodyshops but now do construction, so if anyone has a question on painting and and bodywork I maybe able to help.
Thanks guys, she got her dings dents and holes but all in all shes real sound. First plan is a tune up and some new shocks (shes got a bit of a bounce and wiggle).
