I keep goin carbs like candy... keep warpin the main body on my carb.. need to know if I can get my hands on a heat shield to put over the exhaust manifold..
livin in Las Vegas Nevada... 100+ all the time and as everyone knows the exhaust runs about about 400+ all the time..
any ideas??

also I need a 2bbl carb with a converter plate for a 1bbl intake or I need a decent 1bbl that'll give the old girl a hell of jerk..
I got a 3.55 rear end with a T-18 A... she pulls like hell but dont idel for crap right now... lol
would like to go to a 2bbl for fuel econmy sake but if I can get a single bbl that'll gimme some good out put for cheap that'll last I'll be happy... promiss I wont complain.. lol
There is a heat shield available for the EFI engines that goes between the lower intake manifold and the exhaust manifold, mostly a flat bendable alunimum sandwich material with a lot of humps in one edge to fit over the exhaust manifold, but very bendable.
I live in Nebraska and it's pretty hot here to. I got that single barrel Carter and it doesn't idle decent at all year round, always running real fast. Anyway I never seem to have any problems warpin nothin. I'm always flyin with my truck though, so there's plenty of air movin through all the time.
