Question about F350
Hi there Everyone,
Gotta Question for everyone......what was the 2003 F350 like with the 5.4L V8 in it? I ask because I am eyeing one up. I'm not going to be doing any major towing with it...maybe 3 or 4 sleds, and halping my buddy move, and getting me through the snow. The truck has 131,000 miles. the dealer where I found it at is asking $10,500.

Not an answer to your question, but about a year ago I ssked my dealer what he would give me for my 2006 F350 with about 60,000 miles on it (a 5.4l) and he told me about $10,000. That's when it was in the shop getting about $3 grand of repairs (plugs, brakes, cat conv, tie rods, etc).
I still have it. Use it mainly for plowing and have no issues with it.

thank you for that. As I mentioned I not going to do any "serious towing" with it other than a couple snowmobiles.
On different note I want to ask all the PSD owners out there about the 2007 F350 that had the 6.0L in it....How did those enignes do? Did ford solve the issues that plagued the 6.0L in the early years by 2007?
