I own a '03 Ranger Edge (4x4 4.0 V6 32" trxus tires). I'm getting ready to install a K&N filter charger and then a custom made cat back dual exhaust with tips. Or I might go with dyna max or gibson, just not sure yet. Also, I have a superchip on order. My question is, and I am sure it's been asked already, what kind of sound will I be looking forward too? I want to get a somewhat mustang gt sound. Also, with those three things, how much will I notice the performance increase? I just want to make sure I'm not blowing my money when I can just lift it first.
Turns out. Next Tuesday I'm installing a vortec (sp?) muffler and custom single in dual out pipes that will poke out on either side of my hitch. I look forward to it 300 bucks installed sound like a good deal?

Make sure you get mandrel bent pipes, they make a BIG difference in the flow. Also don't go over 2" pipes on the dual part, anything bigger will hurt more than help.
