I'd like to see OU shuffle some things too. Mike Stoops doesn't seem to always have the defense ready to play - and it showed on Saturday in that first half against Texas Tech. They were down 7 going into the half, then blew them out 2nd half.

Maybe it's time to follow a new team. they have all different guys for those jobs already!

I've heard that. Kinda hope not, in a way because I don't think he's the immediate issue at OU. Time will tell though.

Well I was not planning on taking the time off but with my dad's passing, work became secondary on my list. Actually the work load is not too bad, give me a day or so and I will be caught up.

Thank you, I had assumed that you saw my previous post about it. He passed on 9th at 92 years young. He had been in a nursing home the last 3 years due to my mom not being able to care for him because of his Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. A week prior to his passing, he suffered what was called a "minor" stroke but the MRI that was done a few days later showed that he had severe damage to his one side of his brain. He was in a coma and the chances of him coming too were slim to none.

no, i didn't see your post. i probably wasn't on that day and sometimes i don't go back and read those. hope you and your mom are handling it ok. my dad has issues and my mom is gone. it's difficult.

I am doing well with his passing as is the rest of the family. You can not get to be 92 and not be somewhat prepared for the day that one passes. Yes it was a shock when he had the stroke and again when he passed. I look at it like this, he is in a better place not confined to his own mind due to the terrible disease known as Alzheimer's and most importantly he is not suffering.
