Well,it's a balmy 14 degrees here this morning. I need to get Black's oil changed, to the thinner winter wieght,she was awful cranky when I left here last night.

 

It was 35 when I woke up. Far cry from the 68 degrees at the end of the day yesterday. Rained overnight, and rumor has it it's not to warm up too much today.

I just changed oil in the OBS - put in 15/40 Rotella...hope I'm not paying for that decision.

 

Well, I hate to tell you this, but they recommend 15W-30 for temps below 30 degrees. Now, that's for the 6.0, but I'm sure it is the same for the 7.3.

Yeah,especially when it gets REAL cold. Black gets really, really cranky with that oi in her. That's why I'm going to change it out, even though I've got another 1,000 miles left.
