My brother just bought a 82 Bronco... 351 in it... Windsor or Cleveland, not sure.... I havent gotten to look at it yet (not stock motor)
But it has a 3 or 4 inch suspension lift, aftermarket aluminum wheels and 33x12.50 tires.
Paid 1600 for the truck... it could use some paint, and the power windows need wired back up (replaced motors, didnt hook switches back up)
and it has 96 bucket seats w/ the console in the middle.
Anyways, just wanted to post a note and brag on the thing
Only problem Ive seen is that it leaks gas out of the tank...
Didnt notice til we got to station, put gas in it and started home and it kinda started sputtering and stuff, then would run fine and then sputter/stall agian.
Is aftermarket tanks available??? If so where at?
Also... any good sites/books you guys would suggest for it?

Good deal on the Bronco,i just got my 1st one too! It's a 91 XLT 351,you should be able to get a tank at your local parts store,or go to jc whitney and get the polyerthene(sp) tank!Good luck on your Bronco!!Get yourself a Haynes repair manual they are worth it!!

I'll get the repair book for sure.
It needs some minor work but is in good shape.
Ive only dealth with Bronco IIs and I havent even done much with them. I wished I could have gotten a 96 or so body style but oh well... It'll drive.
Brother is fed up with it already as he just sold his car to buy the bronco and hes PO'd about the hole in the gastank and that it pulls to the left and has a wheel out of balance.
ITs just minor stuff to be fixed... but he's wanting ot burn it to the ground. lol (HEs only 16) and is thinking of just letting me have it and he drive one of my trucks til he can get something else :P
