4x4 problems

4x4 problems
2002 F250 SD 4x4 crew cab, v10. 4x4 not working. Replaced switch on dash, not the problem. Some of told me it was the vacuum control module. Not sure where to start. Any suggestions would be helpful.

What else can you tell us about your problem? Is the transfer case engaging? The vacuum only controls the front hubs (if it still works). If you replaced the switch on the dash, I assume you are having problems getting the transfer case to engage. Check the relays under the hood (there are two by master cylinder for 4wd). Also, do a quick search and see if others had similar issues to you.

When you turn the ****, do you get a 4x4 indicator on your dash display?
What symptoms are you experiencing that indicate 4 wheel drive is not working?
How is your heating/AC system working for you? Can you switch from floor vents to dash vents to defrosters while driving down the road?
