I have a 2011 F250 4x4 CC with 58,000 miles on it just recently I can hear a little chirp coming from the right front tire area when you drive or turn the wheel a little to the right but will stop if you tap the brake! Also if you drive in a circle to the left or right! The noise isn't all the time and at different speeds highway or slow traffic with a little motion of the wheel to the right! I jacked it up and the left front wheel off the ground and it turned freely but the same on the right it turns but not as freely as the left! Any ideas guys!
First thought, time to replace brake pads. Our 12 Fusion had a squeal / chirp when turning right and would disappear when applying minimal brake pressure or driving straight. When I put the snows on for winter sure enough it was the rear driver side wear indicator letting me know it was time.
I had a chirping sound on a brand new truck, I cant remember if it was my 2000 350 or my2003 f350, it was a fast chirping sound that slowed with the truck. Not real loud but I could hear it. Took it to the dealer and they asked if I could hear it with the radio on, and I said no. They then said, well we dont worry about it then. Good answer dipsh~t I think it went away, to long ago to remember...
I have 2020 F250, the front left wheel area maks a 'chirp" almost like a xylophone being struck, when I drive over the road reflectors (or any small bump)........besides annoying, I'm thinking it's something worse. Took off the 'hub cap' and tried it and it still does it....tightening the wheel lugs, rotated tires, etc....hasn't stopped it....35K + miles....any thoughts?
I have a 2018 that makes the chirp as well. It sounds like it is coming from the drivers side of the truck. I really only hear it when I am in the garage. It was done it since new.
I just heard what may be the same thing you are talking about, but not yet identified where the sound actually came from. I heard a chirp(just one) when I turned the wheel to the right, and it didn't happen until a few days later, under the same circumstances, turning to the right. I wasn't on the brakes, though, and the only thing I know of is it could be one of the rubber pads or something moving oddly. It's only happened twice, so far.
I was just thinking about replacing all the rubber on the suspension, but that's something I have never had to do.
