Won't start with a key
I've got an '88 Bronco 5.8 C-6. It will start if I jump the starter solenoid (relay). I only get 6 volts going to the S terminal on the relay. I don't know if that's enough. I replaced the relay with a cheap Pep Boys/Checker model with no change. I was told those cheap relays sometimes don't do the trick, so I bought one from Ford which also didn't work. The neutral safety switch was replaced several months ago, and I put in a new ignition switch. The battery and cables are all new. The only sound I get when I turn the key is the fuel pump relay. Any ideas?

Is the small R/LB wire on the relay going hot (12V) when you turn the key? If not, go back to the ignition switch connector and test. If it isn't, then it's probably the linkage between the lock cylinder (key) and the switch.
