Did anybody here install running lights below the front bumper , similar to a semi truck ? I like to add some on my truck , but because the bumper does not have a lower flat surface to mount lights , I'm looking for some ideas ..
Also did anybody ever attempt to install a big rig bumper ? Just wonder how that worked out and how it looks ? Thanks
I haven't seen any off the top of my head; food for thought tho, my Roll-A-Long f350 came with an aftermarket grill w lights in it. I've seen a few for sale here and there...

I dunno how to post a picture on here, or even if I can but my 97 has the fiberglass steps and fiberglass piece under the bumper. The under the bumper piece has two holes for 4 inch fog/running lights. I went with a big rig look on my truck. As far as a real big rig bumper I'm not sure. I've got an RD Mack bumper at the house that I can measure this weekend to give you an idea.
What I am actually looking for is a clean way to mount the small marker lights on the lower edge of the front bumper. Not driving / fog lights. Unfortunately I do not have the lower valance that would fit my fiberglass running boards. But I do like the idea of somehow incorporating a big rig bumper ... Just not sure about the look though...
George (Chicagodragon) did it. He used a piece of 3" diamond plate under his bumper like a air dam and mounted his lights to that. I can get you a pic tomorrow.
Sorry to hijack, but is that a OBS D60? If so, what stabilizer are you running?
If your refering to my truck, yes it's a d60. I believe it's a skyjacker dual stabilizer set up... Pretty common dual system; I've seen various companies selling them..
look at the lower plastic valance that came on F150s and bronco. It is a black plastic piece that attaches to the lower part of the bumper. You can then drill holes for pop in style or screw lights to it
