I need a passenger side tow mirror for my 2008 F350 super duty. The one on there completely rotted out.
Automatic mirror with blinker not auto telescoping.
My question is has anyone tried the ones from ebay ? http://m.ebay.com/itm/171335990501?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE
$255 for the pair but are NOT ford

The problem is the ones from
Ford are about 350-400$ a piece.

Anyone have any advice?

On an F150, 2007, I replaced my stock mirrors with new F150 ebay trailer tow mirrors after I ran the extended mirror into the edge of the garage while backing out one morning. The ebay mirrors looked stock. Easy enough project after reading here and watching some videos on you-tube that others had made. Seems that I was not the first person to make this stupid mistake while leaving my garage. The ebay seller that I used had a real store. I called and chatted with someone prior to purchase and I had a money back warranty if they did not work or lacked quality when they arrived.

 

I put a set onto a 2013 F150 from ebay. Plug & play as far as bolting on and the electric mirror.
They had a plastic "chrome" cover instead of plain black like the stock units as well as a reflector that stock didn't have. They looked factory and worked as expected. The only issue was that after spending a couple of weeks on vacation in the Daytona area the salt air pitted the cheap chrome.

 

Anyone ever get the solid plastic ones with light >?
