I am a new member of FTE and have enjoyed looking through the threads of useful information from hands on ford enthusiasts.I live in Oregon.
I have several ford trucks and have always preferred the better quality of these trucks to other name brands.
Originally I came across this site hoping to find some help in figuring out a problem on a project that I am working on, but have yet to the direction of the location of the thread I need to help me out.
Here is my situation.
I have a 1996 ford power stroke ex cab with manual windows and locks.
I also have a 1995 donor power stroke ex cab that has power windows and door locks/w remotes and power windows.I want to exchange the doors so that I have power windows doors and mirrors in my 1996 and need to know what to do with the rewiring involved in doing this project or if it can even be done.
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
Also I would at some time in the future like to add pictures of my old farm trucks to show you all for your enjoyment.
I have a 1953 F 500 COE
A 1956 F 500 COE
A 1956 F 700 COE
These trucks need restoration, but they are very cool.
