coolant line
I just finished installing a used engine in my 2001 f250 superduty with the 6.8. The only thing I cannot figure out is a small coolant hose at the rear of the engine. It tees off of a larger coolant line. The diameter of this line is about 1/4". Where does it go? Need some help. Right now I have it plugged.

I found out that the PCV was originally heated with water. A small line went from the front of the intake to a small horseshoe shaped metal tube on the PCV and then another small line went to that tee on the heater hose at the back of the engine. Anybody ever deal with this and is it necessary to keep it hooked up?
