Help please
I have a 1999 f250 7.3 l extended cab 4x4 super duty Need some help with abs light on ,over drive light flashing ,and speedometer has stopped
working .I have replaced abs senor on the rear of transmission and on the rear end.both new and just replaced abs module just the computer not the pump that was used . And abs light ,overdrive light are still on and the speedometer is still not working .I need some help please . and thanks for any help you all will give me .

I know the speedo's wiring system will fail after many years. Lots of threads here to remedy.

With all that going on there will be codes you need to have them read to find out what the problem really is you may also want to start checking all the wiring harness for chaffing, an auto parts store may not be able to read the trans codes but may still give you a starting point. Post up what codes you pull.

Mine did the same thing one time.....cleaned the sensors and finally found a 10 or 20 amp fuse that was blow in the fuse box under the dash. Popped a new fuse in and everything worked again.

i did have a couple fuses under the hood that where blown replaced that and still nothing and thank you for you help

OK i got codes
first code p0500 vehicle speed sensor fault , p0603 internal control module KAM error , c1230 rear speed sensor circuit fault
I be leave the p0500 and c1230 are the sensors on the rear end and one on the rear of the transmission are the ones i have replaced already

I was told that the codes where cleared last week the codes where read again last night
no abs sensors on hubs i have two wheel abs so just the rear as far as i know and no wires going to the front wheels . yes my abs light is still on and my over drive light is flashing and speedometer still not working and thank you for talking with me i do appreciate it

I was thinking wires where next but i am not that good with a ohm meter but i guess i will have to figure that out i will keep you posted it might take me a little while and thanks again very much.

I was hoping for some other responses from some other folks too. While I've never had the problem you're having right now, I have had electrical problems. And I know sometimes it's as simple as a bad ground wire.
