Posted recently that my 87 f350 stalls. The reply I was mostly centered around the tank pick up tubes and foot. So I filled the tank bled got the air out of the lines as far as the filter. If I press the bleeder nozzle above the filter it shoots out fuel no air. Looking at the injector pump the very top just off center left line is dripping a drop every 3 to 5 seconds and it's wet on the top of the line above the cylinder passenger side rear that is all I can see but there may be more. So the question is that enough to make her stall? She will idle fine just when I try to drive. About to order o rings to put in lines but what are the chances of not breaking the lines or they not being rusted so bad I have to buy all new ones?
im curious about this as well. how old is your injector pump?fuel pump? possibly the fuel pump not being able to keep up with the injector pump? bc u said that at idle it's fine but when u drive it it stalls. j
It could be a problem with you check valve letting you lose prime. Mine had that problem and the tank selector valve was letting air in the system and the symptoms were the same. I am by no means a guru but I bypassed he tank selector valve and pu a check valve in between the lift pump and the filter head.....I hope it helps.
