I've got an 85 B2 and I cannot find the freakin inertia switch. I was told it was under the passenger seat, but I can't seem to find it. Any help would be great.

More like 'under the passenger's feet'.

As I recall, on my 90 B2 it's close to the firewall, top of the passenger floorboard area, toward the middle of the vehicle. Peel the carpet back a few inches at the top of the passenger floor board and you should see it.

Good luck with your back surgery !!Do you know for a fact that the inertia switch was added when they did the engine swap? The 85 BII was a carb.2.8 ,I dont think it had one .Not real sure on that.Rich did give you the right place to look if you got 1.
