What do you mean "except for fuel mileage"? I'm getting 20mpg daily driving, around 10.5 - 11 mpg towing my 11K 5th wheel. It easily beats the 6.4L and my 5.4L. One problem that seems to be somewhat common (mine as well), is the DEF tank sending unit. Mine was replaced under warranty. Otherwise, no problems at all. Well, it's a bit clunky in the parking garage at work...
Yeah, have no issues with the 6.7 itself, plenty of power and fuel economy is pretty good, my issues are with the supporting systems and fords lack of support for my issues.
DEF sender/hester bad at 89K, radiator bad at 93K and ford just says too bad.
My buddies just hydrolocked last week. Ruptured EGR cooler. 27K. But hey ford put in a brand new motor didnt cost him a dime and he got a F150 to use in the mean time. but other than that I know he loves his.
so far, our 13 is the best of the many ford trucks I've had...
michelin tire issues @ 23k, but got a new set free....
