98 Expedition Eddie Bauer Adding Outdoor Temp?
I just purchased this 1998 expedition and got a deal on it. So far i've been cleaning it up and fixing issues on it. So far i've noticed that the overhead console only displays the current MPG and a Compass... but i've noticed the later year models such as 99-02 show the outside temp as well. I'm wondering if there is a way to go to a junk yard and get the overhead console out of a 99-02 expedition and swap it in for the one I have to have the outside temperature displayed overhead?

Hi blackex, I've got a 99 EX/EB and the overhead only has the average MPG, instant MPG, Miles to go till empty and a Compass... no outside temp. The outside temp is displayed on the climate control unit in the center of the dash under the radio.

Thanks for the response. I don't have a digital climate control unit, just the basic one with **** controls. Is it difficult to swap out my climate control for a digital one so I can display outside temp?
