I had an opportunity, this weekend, to look at a rough 1986 F150, which has been purchased in order to be resold.
I was presented with the opportunity to see if anything was useable before the truck is sold.
The truck was rough and missing the tailgate, but in the glovebox was a NOS Motorcraft tailgate support [cable] which will certainly come in handy.
Next, were the two tailgate latches [body mount] which had been removed and placed in the glovebox. These are used, but someone might be able to use them??? "FREE" with you paying the postage.
There was the 1986 Owner's Manual [3 pieces?].
I found another item which someone had already asked about...
Anyway, it is fun running across this type of stuff!
This truck had 5.8L H.O. with dealer installed Cruise Control.
Sounds pretty cool, what does the manual look like and talk about? I cant seem to find one for my '86 F250 anywhere
SpencerS,
They can be found on eBay... here is a link:

The books are at another location, but I believe there were 3 and two were the Ford Truck Owner Guide and the Ford Truck Operation Guide and I believe the 3rd was the Maintenance Schedule and Record Log plus there was the original envelope [folder] for them.
