Has anyone ever heard of dp tuners? Bought a reman pcm and it didn't come flashed? Omg! Ok, lets spend some more money but in the right place this time. Browsing the interweb I came across dp tuners and from what I've read on their page I feel like they know what's going on in the diesel world. I've talked to so many people that have false information about my 97 obs 7.3 and I've gotten sick of chasen my tail! Ok, so here is my question for the gurus that have brought mr this far on my beautiful project! Since I have to flash my pcm who should flash it? Second. Would a six position chip benefit more than a custom tune? Not a racer, a puller!
Send it to dp.they can program it to whatever engine code or put one of their tunes iirc. one tune may not be ideal but if you only tow it would get alittle pep on the cheap until you need a custom chip if you do more mods...
If it were me, I would get it flashed to whatever the stock PCM code is for my truck. That way, if I were running a chip and anything went wrong, and I wanted to isolate with absolute certainty whether the chip was a part of the problem, I could remove the chip and run completely stock, to see what impact that would have on the issue. The option to "revert to stock" (and that DOESN'T mean a "stock setting" on the chip or tuner) is always a valuable option when troubleshooting.

Ts x3 it is my friends! Also, I talked to swamps diesel about new injectors. Baby swamps maybe? I want to shop around first to see price vs performace... anyone with experience or opinions would greatly be appreciated!
Right fordman! Cowmilker gave me a light bulb earlier, I'm gonna try to find a broke down 6.0 and maybe I can fab some radiator supports for my obs. I'm concerned about the ic ends as I believe they are plastic. How much psi are they good for? I have the stock turbo right now so I don't think it'll be an issue but after I buy those rosewoods and upgrade my turbo I guess we will see.its all r&d for me until you guys.
