Year in review

I am now able to clean parts in my garage so I should be able to find a little more time for that. My trucks are 20 minutes away at my Mom & Dad's place. Fortunately, I have an understanding wife who lets me out of the house a couple afternoons or evenings a week. The auto body class I'm taking this summer has also been enlightening. I've even managed to keep my web site up to date.
Perhaps we need to resurrect the Blown Project Budget thread. I know I've gone through a couple thousand dollars since then.
Having trouble reading you.
Are you discouraged with the progress or lack thereof you made in one year's time. Don't be. You've stripped it down to the frame, blasted the cab, started putting in cab corners....all in one year while holding down a job, maintaining a marriage and everything that goes with that. You're doing fine.
Heck, from the moment I decided to do another one, it took a year before I able to even find a project vehicle. It'll be another 4 before it hits the road. Course, then there's Rosa. His will probably be on the road in under 6 months - start to finish.
Remember one thing - "It's the journey, not the destination."
(And that my friend is true)
This is my third attempt and (hopefully) will be my second completion. The journey is the biggest part of it for me and I believe most people.
Keep the faith.
Are you discouraged with the progress or lack thereof?
Sounds like an ideal situation. A couple of afternoon/evenings working on the truck with a couple of short breaks for an adult beverage.....what an understanding woman...what else could a guy ask for? A bargin at twice the price!
