Brake Master Cylinder Question

I'm thinking it's time to upgrade my single master cylinder to a double. Would the 1968 Ford F100 double work in the 1962? I'm no ready financially to do the power brake swap, but want to be able to stop if I loose the front or back circuit. The 68 price isn't that bad, and my 223 engine would have a fit providing vacuum for the booster on power brakes.

Dual master cylinders also require a Brake Pressure Differential Valve, that some people call a proportioning valve.

I used a 73 f250 master cylinder in my 62. I also used the proportioning valve from the same truck. The master cylinder was a direct bolt in but required modification of the brake pedal pushrod.
