Memory cuip

I have a 2011 ford f250 and the Sirius radio is not working I was told it's the memory chip in radio. Has anyone had this problem and what was the fix and cost to do it

I think you are going to have to take it in and have them reflash the radio. There are some updates for the sync that may help.

Hopefully you are still under warranty for this.

I had XM when they first came out and though that it was pretty good. The more I listen the less enthralled i am. Their "music" is pretty bad at times and I have to keep changing stations. The so-called "news" is mainly a bunch of giggling commentators saying things like "awesome and "cool" (which they pronounce "kull") along with lots and lots and lots of commercials.

Approaching $ 180/year and it just isn't worth it to me any more. Believe it or not I have gone back to my old Ipod. Only the music I want to hear, or an audio book for a longer trip with the wife.

I still have a trial subscription on my 250 but seldom use it and sure won't pay what will soon be $200/year!!!!!
I can waste that money on something like an 8 ball shift **** or a pair of fuzzy dice. They are just as relevant as Sirius/XM to me any more.

I don't know anyone that has XM any more.
Of course if you like it that much, then by all means enjoy it.
