Anyone use a Empire cover. I am looking for an temporary use cover for the truck and they seem to have some decent prices. Not sure of their quality but just need one for dust and once and a while for an overnight car show and don't want to spend the 400 bucks for a California Car Cover. Anyone have one?
Well I answered my own question and bought one. For the money it's actually pretty good. It is not form fitting like some but it covers everything mirrors, bumpers and side boards with room to spare. Just right for a dust cover and over night outing.
They run from 80/150 bucks. If you sign up for their email they regularly send 40% off promotions. I got their 5 layer Titian Cover, It's warrantied for 7 years, HA, like I'm going to live that long.
OK, I am a cheap skate and my truck is not a nice as many of yours, so I have used a fitted bottom double bed sheet to cover the cab. The bottom sheet covered the hood. The pillow cases slipped over my mirrors and mirror arms. I used twin bed sheets to cover the rear fenders. I would have to tuck the bottom sheet under the wipers to keeping from sliding off the hood.

Cheap huh? But practical!
Abe, At least if you get kicked out of the house you have a place to sleep.
I bought a "universal' type car cover at Kmart of all places.....it's actually pretty nice and fits the F-1 surprisingly well. It was around $25 I think.
