Good morning Nevada, happy Friday!

I do, Dave, but I'm a little farther away than you'd want to drive!

Dave, sorry man but I don't have one. What are you working on?
Adding a Bobtail to the frame of one of my 1911s, really excited, wanted to do one for a long time.

The firearm that will be modified:

Example of modified firearm:

The hole to set the main spring housing in place must drilled in a very precise location, hence the need for the drill with vise.

Ended up buying a drill press from Harbor Freight, got the modification done, turned out real nice.

I will be taking it to get re-blasted on Monday.

Morning all,

Happy Sunday

Weve been moving a little bit here & there as we can after work this past week, but now that we finally moved the big sheds & the house is cleaned, we can start moving the furniture in. Woohoo! Now to get the 5th wheel, & horses/horse related stuff over. We have so much stuff! I'll be so happy when we're all done.

Have a great day!

Wow, it is amazing how big they have gotten already. Seems like only yesterday they would fit in the palm of your hand.

A new week is upon us & I hope that it goes well for everyone. I've been up since 3:20am thanks to the stupid cat waking me up for some company. Grr!

Morning everyone. I hope you all have a great day.

Donna, I hope the rest of the move continues to go smoothly and quickly.

Spent the weekend doing homework. Today is final turn in for this class so busy getting things finished up. The rest of the parts for the truck should be here later this week. I hope it will be the last of the necessary spent $ to get the old fella back on the road.

Dont know when I woke up this morning but I do know it was early. The battery in one of the smoke detectors was low, so it started beeping once every minute. Was too cold to get up and change it, so I kept drifting in and out of sleep until finally I had had enough and got up to swap it out with a new battery. Needless to say, my nap will be longer today. LOL

Curse those things Jim, I hate them. I had a house that had 10 of them and it was not always easy to find the one that being fussy.

Dropped the 1911 off at the gunsmith to be refinished, going to be a long week without having it on my hip, but it will give me a reason to work on the Bronco since I won't be able to tinker with the gun.

Good morning Nevada, welcome to Tuesday! Jim, that drives me nuts. We have a ton of those damn things in the house, so it takes forever to find out which one is going off!

Hope all turns out well for your class, Greg! What all did you order for parts?
