Steering column bearings HELP!
I'm reworking my steering column so the emergency flasher button is on the column. I robbed the column parts from my 76 F250 4x4. Well the turn signal ring that on the 66 has a bearing in the front of the ring. That bearing will not fit on the 1976 ring even though the only difference between the two is the 1976 has the cutout for the flasher button. I need to find a part number for the bearing that will fit the 76 ring. it is a smaller outside diameter than on the 66 bearing. Since ring is off a 4x4 the upper bearing is snap ringed to the shaft behind the ring. Will the 1973 to 1976 2 wheel drive have the bearing I need?

The B1AZ-3518-A nylon sleeve used with the original C3DZ-3517-A upper bearing will not work with the F23Z-3517-B bearing.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 107 = 800-476-9653. Carpenter also has 50 of F23Z-3517-B
