Selling my truck :( :(

Hi all,
Well, that bad news is that I'm selling the truck in my sig.

The good news is that once this is sold, I plan on ordering a 2004 F-350 DRW Lariat CC 6.0L w/ moonroof, blah blah, blah

As soon as I sell it (I'm asking $28,700, which I think is too high, considering it has 53,500 miles in it) but it does have the chip and gauges so . . . . .

I'll let you guys know when I order the new truck, and when I sell this one. My dealer says it takes about 10 weeks to order a truck from the factory. So . . . . we shall wait and see.

Should I keep the gauges or sell them with the truck ???
I'm having second thoughts about that

You might want to wait to make sure they get those "unresolved" 6.0 problems "resolved" for 2004 before you order. As of now there is no "fix" for some of the issues.

Your 7.3 doesn't have the "issues" the 6.0 has. I think the 6.0 will be great once truly "fixed".

Thanks for the advice,
I probably will wait awhile before the order. I figure the truck alone would take 2-3 months to sell. (Hopefully less)
I'm told that "most" of the glitches were worked out of the 6.0's. That after a certian build date (April ??? ) that they were running OK. Any problems as of now the "newer build date engines" are facing ??

If you look at the 2004 changes posted elsewhere on this site you'll see that waiting for the 04 is probably a good idea IMHO.

Curious.. Why you selling this one, wanting the upgrade to the dually ? or just want the 6.0 and CC...

Both really.
My family and I usually take long road trips once or twice per year, and I need more in-cab room in the truck. I'm getting the Dully because I plan on getting a 5th wheel in the future.
The super cab I have now is OK for just 2 or 3 people, (2 really) but when you add cargo, etc. the space gets limited.
