Porting and Polishing
Has anyone here had any experience with porting and polishing their engine's intake, head, exhaust, etc? I have nothing but hand tools (no milling machine), but it looks as if a simple gasket match porting job on my 240 intake, head, and exhaust would not be too difficult. The valve pockets are the ones that get me, does anyone have any experience with porting these? Thank you for your time and the sharing of your experience(s).

Thanks again to whoever posted it, I printed it out and saved it for reference.
You can do a lot of good following this set of instructions. My engine is basically stock (+.060) with the P & P head, 4bbl intake, 390 Holley & EFI exhaust and I love the increased torque AND HP.
