expy front bumper swap
Hello all. I am the neighborhood mechanic in my court, always working on cars (mine and anyone elses). My neighbors just asked me to swap in a new front bumper on their Expedition because they messed up the original bumper in an accident. I'm sure I can figure it out, but I figure if I ask the people here who have probably already done it, they can just walk me through it step-by-step.

expy front bumper swap
well we pulled the old (aluminum?) bumper and took off the upper and lower plastic pieces and put them on the new bumper. Everything went smoothly until we tried to reinstall it. The mounting brackets at the end of the chassis where the bumper bolts on are all bent in so we can only get like 1 of 8 bolts to line up. we have tried to bend them back with a monkey wrench but that only does so much. It looks like there are only a few bolts holding these brackets to the frame. do you think we can bend them back into shape or should we order new ones?
