I would like to put on a set of headers that come out the out side of the frame and run back. You know the ones you see behind the front tires. Also how do these fit? anybody try them or have? The truck I want to put them on is my second truck PSYCHO 2 It's listed below.
There are a couple pics of my L&L fenderwell headers in my gallery. My truck is an F-150 but fitment is very similar on F-250s.
The L&Ls are the nicest headers I've ever installed. They fit like a glove. The brake lines had to be moved and the inner fenders had to be trimmed, nothing big. They have massive 1/2" primary flanges and are guaranteed for life against rust.
77'F-150Mudder is so right. Those L&L's are very sweet! A little on the expensive side...but hey...I can get my starter out in about 45 seconds.... (mine are not fender-well headers, they pass between the engine and the frame then back and UNDER the crossover bracket).
They really get the attention at the red light....(or is the 48" Thrush mufflers that get the stares?....)
