Horns
Anyone know where i can get a decent horn? Mine sounds like crap and i hate that beep wimpy sound. Don't they make any manly horns for us truck lovers other then big air horns on the roof?
Primary rig is:
95' F-150 EB 300/6 5 spd with 4" Superlift, MSD, Ram Air, Gibson Exhaust, 32" BFG Muds

Then theres:
88' F-250 Superduty 351 + c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 and a
3 spd column shifter baby. Top speed, 65mph, Go Baby Go!
The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L

you could get one of them programmable ones from LMC truck, or any other place that sells them (you know, the kind that play dixie and like a crap load of other songs) or just buy a canned-air horn like you use on fishing boats and hang it out the window

I've tried two ways. The first is those plastic trumpet horns with there own little air compressor, easy to hook up and have a decent sound. Only problem is that they aren't made very well, and if the elctrical conections on the compressor get wet too often, they rust and don't work.
Second thing that I tried is going out and getting an aftermarket sea shell horn, similar to your stock horn, but it has a loud low blast to it, sounds pretty nice. Where I'm from they have them in most truck oriented stores and are marketed under "Big Rig Horn" or something like that.
