Need parking brake cable

I need the rear parking brake cable for my 54 F100. My bro-in-law, who is working on my truck, said the one end is frayed, frozen to the housing and it pulled away from the brake
drum.

I called Mid-Fifty and Dennis Carpenter. Both are out and won't have any in until November. I assume they get them from the same overseas supplier.

If you know of a source let me know. LMC doesen't sell them. If you have a good one lying around and you want to part with it, let me know.

Bill, Number Dummy, can you do your search and see of any dealers have any in stock?

Thanks! My BIL got my truck running good and this is the final piece before I get my truck ready for State inspection. I guess this rusted cable was a result of my truck sitting for a year and a half.

I got mine from C&G Ford Parts on 5/15/2014. Part Number COTZ-2A635-A $37.50. Check it out. It was the right size and fit perfect. Good Luck.

I ordered the rear parking brake cable from C & G... thanks for the tip Paxton! It cost 39.50 plus shipping. and they charge the actual rate not an inflated flat rate like some places.

Here are some places I called and their prices:
Green Sales; $87
Carpenter: $80 out till Nov.
MAC's $62
Job Lot: $32 out till Nov.
Mid-Fifty: $42 out
Early ford (Ohio) $45 out
Hot Rod's: never had it.

Thanks for your help. Should be in PA from CA in 2-3 days!
