Hi all! just joined, and I'm a neophyte to the 7.3 world, just bought a nice 95 with 133K miles on it, and looking for pointers. It has oil on top of the motor, but was diagnosed as just a leaky turbo, oil seals etc. Boot was taken off and oil was seen inside the turbo , not bad, but it needs replaced. I want to just get a new stock turbo, down pipe, K&N and scrap the Cat.. what do you think? Oh, and the guy I bought it from says he "programmed" it to 70HP, I think with a "super chips" programmer. I was supposed to get the programmer with it, but forgot to grab it before I left. Now he says he can't find it! something fishy there, but can it be re-programmed, set back to stock and then use a different programmer, or am I screwed? It runs fine, lots of power, and the rest of the truck is in great shape. Thanks!
