Mysterious oil leak... ughh

Everytime i park and let my truck sit i come back to small puddle of oil. I thought it might have been the filter, no, its wrench tight. Thought it was the drain bolt, no its torqued to about 8000ft lbs haha. It appears to be wet on the front of my pan, and running down it, and dripping off the bolt tho. Last time this happened i feared rear main seal, to find out it was an oring on the top HPOP line. So, i replaced them both. And that was GUSHING OIL, this seems to be a slower calmer drip that eventually ends. I have looked a LITTLE but no extense digging around. I assume from what i know i should check for leaks into the valley from the pedistal or whatever else is high gravity... any one else have any other ideas or suggestion?

Be careful doing that. Over torquing it can warp the thin flange that holds the o-ring and cause it to never seal again. Ever.

Mine was the front main seal. I just replaced the oil pump. I figured it was due.

Oil in the valley. I looked at my 2 hpop lines, the SAME ones i fixed last time. The one was wobbly on the fitting, and very oily/greasy when the other an inch away was DRY and tight, so im assuming its that again. Gonna check it further right now and swap with my extra if thats it.

The hose fittings are not tight where they snap in when there's no pressure in the lines. They're that way by design.

Well i pulled the fitting and swapped with new one, all o-rings looked intact. Before, i tried idleing and checking for oil coming out and didnt see any. But the front snap on line is tighter than the one in the back i just changed. It has a natural wiggle, im not sure where to look now... but there is oil in the valley, and i did hope this fixed it but i dont think. Anyone have ideas how to trace or look? I didnt see significant oil traces from the fitting to onto the valley, but like i said the one in the back had resadue all around it, while the front didnt? Should i clean out the valley really good and then try driving looking for traces? Im just puzzled. It does appear to be from between the motor and bell and rolling down the oil pan till it drips..

The line that i am questioning is from the passenger head to right behind the driver side IC tube right by/across from the icp sensor.

This probably sounds obvious, but I will say it anyway, the dye works well if you add it and then run it and then attempt to find the leak that same day. If you don't have the time to search for the leak that day, the die can end up distributed with the oil in the general area of the leak by the air that blows past. The ultraviolet led flashlight (not expensive) is worth getting as well. The dye is not expensive, but I don't recall exact price.

I have found it is NOT THE HOSE FITTING. It is on the back of the HPOP tho near the bottom. Im looking for a diagram or picture of one to see what all is back there that could possibly leak. The fuel bowl is highly obstructing my view.

Probably the "non-serviceable" plug, which can certainly be serviced and repaired.

I am 99.9% sure it is the rear end plug. Its wet right below it after i cleaned and degreased my valley and laid a white rag down in it to help trace. Where the bolt head and the hpop meet there was little pieces of oring sticking out. Its tight and feels ok, But you know how orings work. Tomorrow we shall see if it fixes it!
