Thanks Misky for sharing. That's a very cool shot. Funny to see traffic, including a fire truck sitting and waiting for this anticipated event!

Whenever there was a shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral, traffic within about 30 miles was just like that. Folks would start pulling off the Interstate and setup their cameras on tripods and eventually blocked the right lane on overpasses and secondary streets became clogged the same way.. Afterwards, traffic was worse than rush hour, 'cause everybody needed turn around by cutting across the median ..

Too bad we will never see it fly on it's own power again...........The manned US space program is pretty much dead.

They're springy---a bit of bounce on the landing but much more gentle!


(BTW takes a warped mind to see such a thing---glad we're part of that minor insanity. )
