For my 90' F150 X-Cab? I beleive it only has the two in the doors and they sound really bad!

You should have 2, 5x7 in the rear of the cab too in the corners.

cowtown, I did not see any in the back but I'll look again. Will any 6.5's do, or do they have to be a special bolt pattern?

Any 6.5" should fit, Dragrazor...and with an F150, speaker depth should be a nonissue.

Most 6.5s will do. If the bolt pattern is an issue you can put weather stripping on the back of the speaker (like a gasket) and use self tapping screws.

Hmm that's odd. Well I'm no expert on options for each different model year of truck. Perhaps non-premium sound stereos in ext. cab trucks didn't have rear speakers?

I know on my truck they were right in the rear corners of the cab, under the seatbelts.

cowtown, did your truck have the shoulder restraint seat belts? This truck is a 1990 and only has lap belts back there!

I just checked the truck and I can't find any speakers back there!
Thanks anyways, I'll look into the 6.5's for the doors this weekend!
