KMC D Back Hot Wheels

Hey guys... I ran into a set of KMC D-BACK Hot Wheels rims that were loaded with 325 pro comps. I dont know the other dimensions of the tires but they're pretty damn big and they still have a decent amount of tread left. The guy who has them said he ran them on a stock F250 and because of the big offset in the tires they fit in the wheel wells without the need for fender flares. I have a stock 2008 Ford F250 SD CC that has 245/75/17's on it now and i do like the rims except for the fact that they're 6.5 wide and my tire options are limited. I most likely wouldnt put 325's back on when I replace the tires on the KMC hot wheels rims but do want to fill up some of the space between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender. Do you guys think those 325s will impact my ability to turn because of rubbing anything? The other thing is that the center caps are starting to peel a bit and I dont think I will be able to find originals do to the fact that they are now discontinued. Can i put any center cap on there or will i need factory? Thanks for all of the help.

Thanks Again,

Jim

I can't answer your question but here is a site that sells center caps.

Thanks for the info. I actually saw that site you listed but I havent picked up the tires/rims to see what the part number on the originals were. More than anything at this point I want to see what other guys think about the 325 tire size thats on the KMC's and if I will have any rub or not.

It all depends on how wide the rims are and the offset. I have 20x10 -12 offset with 295s and I had to trim my flares and bend my fenders...

I believe the rims are 9.5's from what he told me. The bottom line is i most likely wont run 325's in the long run... 295's or 305's could be a possibility but the main advantage of the purchase was moving from a rim that is only a 6.5 to a rim that is a 9.5. The offset in these KMC's is very deep. He said he ran them on a stock F-250 that was not lifted and since the offset was so deep he didnt need fender flares. I emailed KMC to find some of the wheel specs because they are discontinued and I cant find much information on them. If i can run the 325's that are on the KMC's with no impact on turning/rubbing i can buy myself some time in tire replacement as an added benefit.
