Well I still have not found a job, I was being picky for a while trying to stay in the same industry, I spent today looking at city, county, and state jobs.... turns out I don't qualify for most unless I want to take a huge cut in pay and go back to entry level.... This sucks. I still have not given up on staying in the industry just yet...
I signed up for unemployment... man that don't make that easy.... it is more work then working to get it and keep it. What a crock of ****.
Donn, why you didn't take the sure job with Circle K amazed me in this economy. At least you made it sound like a sure job.
People need to face reality salaries aren't going up. In these days holding out for the money you want will most likely keep you on the unemployment line.
Don't mean to sound so rough but I spent part of my career hiring & firing skilled workers. I still do hire people to work for us today. There are a lot of real good hard workers out there for cheap. I start the people we hire out low until they prove themselves.
Donn, being let go by a company after 12 years doesn't look good.
Again sorry but facts are facts. I wish you the very best, I hope your dream job & money happen.
